It’s Important to NOT Seize The Day…Once In A While.

I’ve had a great time exploring my surrounding area, trying new things, and finding creating ways to boost happiness this year.  It’s been a blast, but on the other hand I’m exhausted.  Despite taking one day off a week, a real vacations, and mini day trips (all prior resolutions).  I am constantly on the go.  If not physically, then mentally.

Over that last couple days I have tried to take it easy and just hang out close to home.  But that comes with its challenges.

I often find myself pacing around the house not knowing how to pass the time.

My upcoming resolution in August is to limit my wanderings and find ways to slow down and enjoy myself.

I was near the end of 2017 when I realized that my life was totally out of balance. I was 30 and I was working my life away. I did not have strong relationships with my wife, family, or friends. It was around this time that I came across THE HAPPINESS PROJECT by Gretchen Rubin. It was then that I decided to launch my own year long project towards personal happiness for the entire year of 2017.
