What I really do… – March 3rd

What a day.   Friday is always a toss in the air…It can certainly  be really busy or really slow for lunch.   I was hoping for the later because my sole host called off and my salad man was going to be an hour late.

Gotta give my lunch team credit.  They worked together to get through lunch without my constant supervision.

Fuck this weather ….Far cry from 2 days ago.  20 degrees with a wind chill around zero.   It’s run day so I can’t let that stop me.

The gusts we so bad that it had my swaying from side to side…Like Ariana Grande …What a bad joke.   But I still went 2 miles by doing wind sprints for 30 seconds then walking for a minute.

Remember what I said about endorphins? Despite the cold and my shitty mood that I brought home  ( just beat down from a long week)…I finished my exercise feeling lighter and more relaxed.

It’s almost pretty.  What it would be like to hop on a train and get out of here.  .

Booked my hotel for the Tough Mudder as well as a 2 Day stay in NYC in May.   More on my obsession with big cities some other time.

One more shift before my day off.
